Refund policy
At Silver Birch Tours, we want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. If for any reason you are not, we offer a straightforward refund policy designed to be transparent and compliant with Google Merchant Center guidelines, Shopify Terms, GDPR, and CCPA regulations.
30-Day Return Window
You have 30 calendar days from the date you received your item to request a return. To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it: new, unused, with all original tags, and in its original packaging. You will also need the receipt or proof of purchase.
How to Initiate a Return
To start a return, please contact us at service@silverbirchtours.com. Please provide your order number and the reason for your return. If your return is accepted, we will provide you with instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.
Return Shipping
The customer is responsible for paying the shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. We recommend using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance, as Silver Birch Tours cannot guarantee that we will receive your returned item.

Refunds & Processing
Once we receive and inspect your return, we will notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund via email.
- Approved Refunds: A credit will automatically be applied to your original method of payment within 5-7 business days.
- No Restocking Fees: Silver Birch Tours does not charge any restocking fees for returns.
Non-Returnable Items & Hygiene Policy
For health and hygiene reasons, certain jewelry items are exempt from our standard return policy. The following items cannot be returned or exchanged:
- Pierced Jewelry (Earrings): For hygiene reasons, we cannot accept returns on earrings or any other pierced jewelry if the tamper-evident seal has been broken or if the item has been removed from its original packaging.
- Custom & Personalized Jewelry: Any item that has been engraved, altered in size (custom ring sizing), or custom-made to your specific requirements cannot be returned.
- Gift Cards: These are non-refundable and cannot be exchanged for cash.
Please note: If you receive a pierced jewelry item that is defective or damaged upon arrival, please contact us immediately (see "Damages and Issues") before removing any hygiene seals or packaging.
Exchanges
We do not offer direct exchanges.
To receive a different item, please:
- Return the original item following our return process
- Place a new order once your return is approved

Right of Withdrawal (EU Law)
In accordance with European Union law, customers in France have the right to withdraw from their purchase within 14 days of delivery for any reason, including sale items. After this 14-day legal window, our standard 30-day policy applies.
